In the bustling business district of a major U.S. city, a high-end office building housing multiple multinational corporations recently completed an upgrade of its access control system. Equipped with high-precision infrared sensors and intelligent algorithms, the turnstiles can accurately detect unauthorized following behavior. Once a tailgating attempt is identified, the turnstile immediately locks and triggers a local alarm, while simultaneously sending an alert to the security management system. This feature has effectively prevented unauthorized access, significantly reducing potential security risks in the building.
In addition, the system offers comprehensive visitor management capabilities. All visitor information, including identity details, visit time, authorized access areas, and escort personnel, is automatically recorded in the backend system, enabling traceability and querying at any time. This not only simplifies the work of the front desk and security personnel but also ensures compliance with the building's security regulations.
To adapt to peak hours such as morning commutes and lunch breaks, the turnstiles support a "fast exit" mode. During preset time periods, the system automatically adjusts the opening duration and response speed of the turnstiles, allowing employees to pass through more quickly without compromising security. Meanwhile, the built-in LED traffic indicators clearly display "Pass" and "Stop" statuses, guiding personnel flow and avoiding congestion.
Since the system was put into operation, the office building has witnessed a significant improvement in security management efficiency, with employee satisfaction reaching 95%.
